Technical Specifications

Description
Model G15 starts our caster line with a precision machined swivel bearing. This design provides phenomenal performance on both manually moved and mechanically powered equipment. Benefits include easier swivel rotation, decreased vibration, and longer trouble free performance. The metal frames are zinc plated for rust resistance, and there are lubrication fittings for all moveable parts. Plate Caster Model G15 has a broad selection of wheel brakes and swivel locks. We offer the same selection of wheels as shown in Model 9, and in many instances the wheels have a higher load capacity rating in Model G15. One popular option is a larger swivel radius in Model G15 Casters with 6” and 8” wheel diameters. A bigger turn lessens the vibration and makes it easier to move [This caster comes with a 1/2” diameter axle with a locking nut. This swivel caster is made of hot=forged construction with legs welded to the swivel bearing.] This caster is available in Stainless Steel. This Stainless Steel caster is NSF and ROHS compliant and comes with a broad selection of 2” wide wheels to choose from that are also NSF and ROHS compliant.
*This Plate Caster Model G15 contains a Red Crown Polyurethane on Iron Swivel Wheel.

FAQ
What is the Plate Caster Model G15 with PCI Crown Tread Polyurethane on Cast Iron Core Wheel, and what’s it used for?
The Plate Caster Model G15 with PCI Crown Tread Polyurethane on Cast Iron Core Wheel is a kingpinless industrial caster shipped from Texas, Ohio, or Washington, designed for robust performance with a capacity of up to 2,500 lbs per caster, suitable for both manually moved and mechanically powered equipment. It features a precision machined swivel bearing with a heat-treated raceway and no center pin, ensuring easier swiveling, reduced vibration, and longer trouble-free performance. The caster includes a zinc-plated steel frame (with a stainless steel option that is NSF and ROHS compliant), 1/4″ thick legs welded inside and out, a 1/2″ diameter axle with a locking nut, and grease fittings for all moveable parts to facilitate maintenance. It supports a top plate of 4″ x 4-1/2″ with 3/8″ mounting bolts, accommodating 2″ wide “PCI” wheels in 4”, 5”, 6”, and 8” diameters with overall heights of 4” x 2” = 6”, 5” x 2” = 7”, 6” x 2” = 8”, and 8” x 2” = 10”. The “PCI” wheel’s Flex Compound polyurethane elastomer (85 Shore A durometer), chemically bonded to a heavy cast iron core, provides a semi-cushioned ride, excellent floor protection, and a crown tread that reduces surface friction for easier turns and rolling effort. It’s ideal for material handling carts, warehouse equipment, and other industrial settings requiring a durable, low-effort solution.
